New Wake has been a working project since its creation in 2007 including elements of avant-garde, noise, shoegaze, ambient, drone, electronic, and progressive rock. New Wake compositions vary from strong brass rhythms to emphasis on melody as well as innovating beyond conventional structures. The band creates atmospheric feels out of the versatile use of limited instruments.
